I want a new clutch anyway, as I am replacing engine and box. Might as well get it done, so I don't have to take everyting apart again when the clutch needs replacement.
So I have been asking around and Repco told me a std clutch for the RA23 is $166 (PBR) and a heavy duty one would be $195 (RPM). I also rang a clutch&brake place and they quoted $230 for a Exedy Daikon, which according to him has 58% more pressure than the std RA23 clutch and it should fit in without mods.
I am tempted to go for the last option, as the difference is only $64. Does anyone have experience with Exedy Daikon? Are they any good? Does the price sound reasonable?
