Personally I don't think smoking up your tyres sounds like a great idea. Burn outs just put stress on your diff. I think your problem is more likely to be something else, maybe a suspension issue... heavy braking will put a lot of stress on your front shocks. Don't take my word for it though I'm not even an amateur with these things
