well i pulled them apart today and i found gunk covering the whole of the starter jet so i cleaned that all off, everything else was fine, but on the right carb i found a ball bearing lying in that little area beside the float chamber plate and it was submerged in water.. about a quarter full. i dunno how water got in there but i cleaned it and took the ball bearing out. where this ball bearing came from i dunno but will i have a better chance at starting it now you recon?
