you wont be able to swap the yokes, the AE86 is a welded in type which is unreapirable/rebuildable i think the ta22 might be rebuildable though??

you will also have to watch the shaft lengths if you swap the halves over, not to mention balancing.. try and take note of where the balancing blocks are on each shaft comparatively and when you swap them over try and get the balancing blocks in the same orientation.

then once its in check the shaft at full compression on suspension to make sure its not going to push thru the end of the box.
