Not sure about the mods, but yes these are now able to be imported to Australia for general road use.
There are a couple of import dealers here in Sydney with them in stock and I recall seeing one listed on the site for one of the dealers on the Gold Coast.
Average prices seem pretty steep, about 35-45K but if you have the cash they are a damn fine car (give those new v8 Falcodore drivers a scare!)
