I've recently built an alarm into my RA23 and it works fine from all angles and up to about 10-15m distance. I've also built the same alarm into a RAV4 and that doesn't work well from certain angles. Apparently there are "blind spots" where the receiver can't see the transmitter. This may have something to do with the position of the receiver in the car. Try to put it in a spot where it is not surrounded (or enclosed) by too much metal. [Report message to a moderator]
