Mon, 05 July 2004 05:32 My Dad told me that in order to subdivide you need to specify many things... One of those things is areas designated to being public roads or property. This means that when the plans are approved by the council that area is then the responsibility of the council for mantenance and repairs. So, if your Dad got approval then technically those areas specified in the plans as being roads are in fact roads even if they aren't finished or they don't lead anywhere. That is my understanding of what Dad told me. He is an engineer and has friends who have subdivided before. [Report message to a moderator]
