You could try an MR2 gearbox with GT4 driveshafts if you feel that you are breaking them from too much power.

Note : Wheel spin generally doesn't break driveshafts, the torque and power being applied to a spinning wheel is minimal - however excessive torque might kill it (hard launches, excessive load, like full throttle 1st gear application). Also, stress on the bearing may be screwing it up due to the driveshafts' non-stock 'resting' angle.
