Yeah, my MX73 one does that.

I got inspired one day, pulled it apart, cleaned it up and put it back in with the aerial up.
Turned the radio on, then turned it off and she went down, then i turned the radio back on, and she wouldnt come up.

So I just pulled her up 40odd cm, unplugged the aerial (the power, not the signal cable) and she stays there.

I havent gotten around to pulling her out again and actually fixing her.

But remember, you can get cheap ones, but the cheaper they are, the noisier they are, and the short life span they have.

Get an Aerpro one IMO.
