Could you get custom made joints to reduce the stress on the shaft? You'd probably need custom shafts as well though...

Just drive slower if you want really low suspension???

Having looked at the ST162 shafts, they certainly aren't weak or piddly or anything. I'm not sure that ST165 shafts would be much better seeing that your problem isn't really related to torque...it's just related to the angle that everything is at.

This isn't exactly my speciality per se Smile

Also - I'm guessing the right driveshaft from an ST165 is shorter due to the front gearbox having two diffs (is that right?)
