Subject : w50s and w40s
i have a w50 that was from a 18r, i used it in a corona mark 2 (4m), and the front bearings shit itself, so we replaced them with bearings from a w40(4m).
you say on your website that the w50's that were for 6 cylinder's had a needle roller bearing in the cluster shaft, which bearing do you mean? the one you can see before you remove the cluster shaft or the one after you remove it? both boxes had the same bearings, ball bearing in front, needle bearing behind. let me know about this please, as i'm gonna put it back in soon. thanks, joe.
