When fully loaded ours can tip 3.5t (estimated gross). Work it out, what sort ratio do you think it'd have to make it move, 3.1???? 2.8????? Exactly, that's why petrol models (usually earlier 1800cc & 2000cc) often have 5.2:1 or 4.88:1 diffs. Lots of weight for a small engine to lug away from traffic lights.
