The 18R-C runs perfectly on unleaded already.
It wont damage the valves.
As for a Ford Weber (i assume you mean the 34ADM), go to your local u-pull-it.
You can then pick one up for ~$40.
For an adapter, youll need to talk to carb repair type shops.
