Result of mods: Goes pretty well.. Really Responsive and has some power when you need it.

How much spent on mods: around 2.5k to 3K (conversion was around the 1.7/8K mark efi to carby)

Why have you done mods: 4AC had done a head gasket after already being replaced 2 months ago.. engine clocked 260Km's so it had the good life.. Time for something with more power

Target for police: Hmm.. maybe if i rev it. But other then that the visual apperance of the car is not great, typical 80 type car with a towbar and the radio arial fully extended Very Happy

Is it worth it: I prefer my old 82 corolla rather then what some spolit teens have with their lancers/civics. 4K car can suprise those guys Laughing

Is it road legal: Looks like it Very Happy

Why are mods popular: Depends what mods you look at.. i know a alot of people who claim they have a FULLY MODIFIED car (mostly fresh uni spoilt bums) the only thing you will techincaly see is a brand name muffler and the bodykit makes up 95% of the mods Surprised

I dont really saw modifications as popular.. some people can be into cars and use what money they have to enhance it, others cant really be bothered and go for something new or just leave what they have.

Other comments: An old highschool friend was talking to me about drifting.. he wanted to get a nissan and along those lines while he was talking were "man, drifting is so hard.. you need to have full control of the car and the turbo timer on.." i couldnt stop laughing in my head.. and i didnt correct him on what a turbo timer really does Laughing
