heya
in my Mazda 1300 I use RX-2 struts that have been coverted to height adjustable/coilovers using whiteline (I think) springs and the adjustable weld on collars.
I have been told that even these struts can flex under heavy braking and they are pretty solid.
To these struts I have Tarago vented discs and Camira calipers with stock drums on the back.
Its a good package, and with QFM pads I havent experienced any fade in multiple 180+ K stops. Its unboosted too.
