if you read this before looking at the car then jere is a little trick that hardly anyone knows...
if you have a nice sized magnet (nothing huge), then while looking at the car run it over the car, use your hand to prevent it from hitting the actual car (you dont wnt to damage it)
what you are looking for is bog and rust!!! how can you tell?
- while you are running the magnet over the car you will notice that the magnet will want to stick to the car HARD and that means no bog or rust.
- if the power of the magnets attractio to the car decreases then there is either bog or rust DEFINATELY
if your thinking how will i know/how can i really tell... BELIEVE ME WHEN YOUR DOING IT YOU WILL NOTICE WHAT IM TALKING BOUT
i do this on all the cars i buy, the current TA22 i got has 5 bog spots (both side behind door badges, rear bottom passenger guard, behind door on seal panel, behind passenger rear wheel), other bad spots on the car are windsheilds (front and rear) and boot... but thats where the daily driver will come into play towards the end
