Yeah, the best place to look is in the body... 
Make sure you give it a good once over, and then look at it again. Even come back the next day after the excitement wears off (don't get too anxious about buying a car) and look again.
The smaller the magnet the better...those small fridge magnets don't stick to metal very well, there's no chance they'll be sticking to bog!
