RA40's have a T series diff centre, same as upper-spec AE86's. That means you can get one of the many aftermarket AE86 LSD centres available and bolt it into your diff housing.
As for disc brakes, unless you're building a race car I wouldn't bother; the stock drums are adequate for street use provided you have decent front brakes.
