I doubt thats a staged pic, if you look at the markings on the trees from the accident its pretty clear someone diddnt take the bark off with an axe. the front and rear glass is still in one piece despite the front bieng on the ground... and the impact speed was so great as to have thrown side glass and any fluids to kingdom come.

Its also pretty hard to spread around the debris as randomly as that. If youve ever been involved in simulation stuff youll know what i mean. Also you dont know how long its been from the time of the accident to when it was found and the photos were taken. It could have been up to 8 hours or more.. by witch time most of the coolant would have all but dissapeared.. and the engine is still intact pretty much so no oil will be exiting anywhere in large quatities.

plus have you ever tried to bend a door round a tree like that? you might get it to hug the front but i doubt youd get it wrapped as well as that by hand withoput leaving some visible impression on the door of how you did it.

Not a pretty sight.. thats what happens when you speed in an uncontrolled inviroment though. Im just glad i never have to see the bodies like that ever again. I used to be a volunteer fireman back home... we used to have a main road out of a small town from the pub intersect the state highway. it wasnt called collision crossroads for no reason... I quit that particular fire station after about the 5th accident i attended there... small towns means you usually know the people killed Sad

EDIT: hmm looking closer at how they hit id say the struck the first tree on an angle with the rim of the passenger side and the front gaurd clipping the tree then it started hard impact along the door till it got to the B pillar, at that point it probhably caught the car and spun it completely sideways tearing it in half, the front would have spun round a couple of times and come to rest which is why the bodies are back behind the impact point, the rear spun around the road side of the tree and rolled ( quickly back to its impact point. the G forces on the upper and lower parts of thier bodies was probhably opposing... they were probhably almost torn in half. Hopefully they were dead on impact and diddnt die from the internal injuries. You can see from the steering wheel how the seatbelt failed to react fast enough in the collision, probahbly more to do with the speed they were doing, it would have been the drivers head that caused the wheel to be bent like that. and the headrest on the drivers side is missing, the body ws most likely flung out over it tearing it out as the B pillar that held the belts were no longer there. you can just make out the belts hanging down in the shot of the rear.
