ra23celica Forums Junkie Registered: November 2002	Re: Quick boost mod for 3S-GTE Mon, 19 July 2004 03:22 The underlying fundamental principle in that boost mod was that when the ECU says 'yes, good conditions now, lets go play' a higher boost level than the factory limit is allowed as the VSV has been drilled out to a greater diameter and it lets a higher pressure level be held before the wastegate opens. You still need to do the diode mod to beat the fuel cut. If you really want what the title of your e-mail says, why don't you see if you can fit some thicker washers on the mounting bolts of the wastegate actuator arm, so that the distance that it opens through is reduced therefore if will see higher boost before it swings open.
