Mon, 19 July 2004 04:05 my cousin (mechanic) takes his car (original 351 FORD) to the runs and has a drop tank in it with 10mm walls all round... he was telling me that it was best to use that cause firstly it helps to weigh the rear end down, and also for engineering i think... the 10mm may be a bit over but i do know for a drop it needs to be pretty thick cause it is seen and low to the floor and cause of rear enders... also my team leader at me old job had the same thickness walls in his LJ torana (but thats a cruiser/classic car and not race) [Report message to a moderator]
