Mon, 19 July 2004 08:23 the new plastic ones are designed to crumble and cause they are plastic no spark would occur to light the fuel... like i said they use it for drags and to help weigh rear end down... that could be reason thick walled drop but i have seen his drop and it is literally as thick as the chassis rail thickness... also just cause he is a mechanic i dont say he is always right or whatever... this is what he said to me, he is my cous so i cant see why he would lie to me but hey who knows... i mentioned what i was told... right or wrong im sure of there is an engineer on these forums they would step up and state the right answer for all opf us to know... with your drop convo and the spare are you just going to use those bungee ropes/tie downs?
