From what i can tell its just the fan, but also when moving the temp lever on the control panel it doesn't move right across because of the angle of the switch at the bottom of the heater unit. So I thought i could just do away with all the cables as the celica on has got all motors. I thought i might as well us it as its just sitting around collecting dust.
