the discs are on the minimum thickness, the guy who machined them said that this will be their last run and wont take another machining. Maybe time to invest in some new rotors? The pads seem to be ok bout 40% left. I've found the ferodo pads to be much better than standard pads, what do you guys recommend??
Levin brakes?? so the caliper will bolt on? i thought the holes for caliper had to be drilled out on the steering knuckle because they were to small, how big is the rotor? i only have 14"s will it fit?
Guess its just a matter of finding them then, what else would be a good upgrade if i cant get hold of levin brakes? would the standard master cylinder be enuff to drive upgraded fronts and ae82 t/c rear disks? i've heard there is a valve or something that controls the bias for the rear in the single cam master cylinder and that this needs to be removed when putting in rear discs to stop them locking up before the fronts, anyone konw where the valve is exactly?? how much would an adjustable valve cost so that i could set the bias myself? I thought i read somewhere that the old hq style holdens have one stock? can this be made to work with my set up? i dont need and incar one just one in the engine bay would be fine
Thanks
