I've gotten the inside line that they're usually either pricks who love handing out fines + defects, or total jerks who none of the regular cops can get along with, so they get pushed into a car by themselves, or with another jerk, so that they can't annoy the "good" cops. I was told this by an ex-Vic cop, and a serving N.S.W cop. on seperate occasions. I was pulled over by a pair of 'em one night for my indicator not self-cancelling, and BOY were they assholes. $250 fine for an address technicality on my licence, and said that if they saw me driving again they'd fine me again and it'd be court, for repeat unlicensed driving. All for not spending ENOUGH days per week at my home address!!!! Oh yeah, they canaried me, making me get a full roadworthy for ONE hose off the engine, and marginal tread on the rear tyres. BASTARDS!!!!!! [Report message to a moderator]
