Having tried many and varied ways to do this, I've come up with the following method, which is cheap, quick and reliable:
You'll need flywheel bolt socket and breaker bar/rachet, another large breaker bar or personally I use a big screwdriver, and a bellhousing bolt reinstalled in position.
1. Place the bellhousing bolt in place and the socket with breaker bar on the first bolt.
2. Install the second breaker bar or screwdriver on the side of the socket, while using the bolt for stability - you'll work out which side of the bolts and socket to put everything on, one way will slip, the other will brace the setup
3. Hold the second breaker bar steady as you apply pressure to the first breaker bar to loosen the bolt. The centre of the bolt will be the pivot point of the motion, so shouldn't slip of move if you're doing it correctly.
4. You can do all the flywheel bolts without having to move any thing once you get the hang of it - easy!
