We were going down anzac pde (60 zone) pretty much straight with hardly any building and a huge grass patch that splits the 2way road. We decided to give the cars a bit of a thrash so we ended up getting to 160 . Then see a car zig-zagging in and out of traffic to catch up to us, so we figured 'now we're screwed' so we slow down to 80ish, and stop at the red light. The car comes up beside us luckily isn't a cop car, so we take off slowly at the lights and he does the same for about 100m, all of a sudden pulls up behind my mate and turned his siren on. It wasnt a commo or falcon...they've started using the VW Beetles (it was undercover car). After a lot of BLAH BLAH BLAH and nearly shitting his pants, mate somehow got his license back Later found out normal cops can't book you for speeding, only Highway Patrol...thats what some chick who's dad's a cop said...Is this true?
