That Gold VH Commodore with a Twin-Turbo 308 twists its chassis off the line. It creases the C-pillars and the roof when it launches, and it's got a Full roll-cage!
If you're putting down 1000h.p. or more, you've gotta invest in a fully triangulated, integral roll cage / space frame. That means stripping the interior (including dash, boot etc) and WEOLDING that sucker to the puny sheetmetal at the suspension mounts and the sub-frames.
There's PLENTY of VL-Turbos out there proving that lots of torque over a long period of time WILL pop welds, crack body-panels and weaken pretty much everything.
