Fri, 23 July 2004 11:43 oh shit, there is no one way valve in the brake vacuum hose. its just a straight hose from the inlet manifold to the brake booster. its not that the pedal feels hard it just feels like its not doing much ie not pulling the car up. where as in other cars the brakes feel more sensitive ie. touching the brakes lightly pulls the car up with what feels like more force. i'll fix that valve and see if it gets any better. yeh the brakes on there were only ever a temporary fix that sorta kept gettin put back and back. i'm trying to scrounge some cash to buy a new better brake setup, most likely going to get the ae92 series 2 setup. i have a set of rear ae82 t/c brakes coming soon so hoepfully when i get these all set up it will be a much nicer car to drive. Thanks again guys edit[ brake pads are ferodo zero's, and these have been alot better than the standard stuff in the past, brakes have already been bleed and dot 4 fluid put in.
