and actually the price of an alarm system will greatly impact on how hard a car is to steal, the cheaper the alarm obviously the shittier it will be, so buying a cheap-arsed alarm wouldnt do much except keep away the most amateur of thieves.

i do know where you're coming from River, but yeh an alarm doesnt always solve theft problems. Smile

most car theifs that break into 4ac sprinters wont have dick all idea of what they are doing.. so even a jaycar alarm will do for piece of mind
