Ok change of subject....

I'm looking at the possibility that the 18R-GEU I have may be already stroked (I really have no Idea without pulling it apart.)
And if It isn't, I'm going to.

Looking at peoples previous attempts the magic ingredients appear to be 22r-e pistons, 16r rods, 20r Crank with machine work to fit the 18r block. this gives a CR of about 7.

Not having any luck tracking down a set of 16r rods in Australia (yet) before I look O/S is there another option on the rods that will give the 2.4 lt and a comp ratio of between 7 and 8.5 ?

I've researched tryed and true methods but looking outside that I'm a little lost when it comes to what rod/crank/piston can be interchanged and what the theoretical results would be.
