Counting the teeth I get 35 and 8, meanings its a 4.375. Its a G series for sure, 8 inch diameter crown wheel. I have looked closely at the internals and they look fine, no scoring or chipping in any of the teeth that I can see. The diff itself is out of a 1978 RN27. Its been in storage for many years before the guy finally sold it to me, and I have never got around to fitting it, as I always thought it was a 4.875 ratio unit.
