Assuming that an electronic ignition was fitted with the EFI, these are some suggestions: The tacho hasnt been shorted accidently and damaged internally while fitting the EFI? The new ignition system isnt MS (multiple spark)? Some EFI computers have a tacho output as opposed to picking up off the coil. You could try an appropriately sized diode in the lead to the tacho if all else fails, it may help. [Updated on: Mon, 02 August 2004 12:58] [Report message to a moderator]
