ZZT231, I can't load for pics for some reason so can't comment sorry. I restored mine by hand a long time ago, and they were in absolutely shithouse condition. Half the work was cleaning them, I'm not joking - as you can see from the pics:

Not something I look forward to doing again, it was a shitload of work. Cleaned, stripped the clearcoat, sanded back with various grades of wet&dry & wirewool then polished with wire wool (IIRC) then cloth. Sanding really can get a lot of ghutter rash out; the rest you have to live with. Of course, I never bothered to clearcoat them, so they've dulled. I've since painted the grooves black by hand. I should have painted the centres black - tried it on one, and decided masking them was too much work. Would have looked better though - cRUzida, you'rs look great!
