dont take the sump off, they are a pain to put back on with new gaskets cause the bolts are so short! i would drain the oil and put new oil in, put a new oil filter on after filling it with clean oil, then i would put a couple of squirts of engine oil down the spark plug holes, then i would turn the motor over by hand a few times. put the plugs back in and crank it over
