Guest	Re: SV21 dedicated thread Wed, 04 August 2004 12:31 Thanx heaps dude, means alot to me. Done alot of work to the car today. -Put new gold battery terminals on. The positive one has a built in display that tells you the voltage, looks neat. -Put blue neons under the dash (yes, like yours TOYCSX!!). They looks mad...i wired them into the doors, so their like interior lights. -I put my standard airfilter/airbox back in. The car goes alot better. It doesn't seem to like the pod filter very much. Maybe too much air??? -Ive finished and installed the 'eyelids'. They required 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of color and 2 coats of clear. They look awesome, and I put velcro behind them so that they don't blow away!!! (The last time I made them up, I just slotted them in and one flew off on the freeway..... Hopefully.....I'll be getting my D2 Height, Ride and Camber adjustable struts soon. They have been custom made in the US and shipped here. They should be arriving soon. Suspension: In regards to what you where saying before about heights etc, I put pedders sports rider springs in. The front ones I cut 1 coil off and I got the rears reset to a low height. Ride and handling is pretty good considereing, and the vehicle is still legal height (100mm for Vic). But, roadworthy wise, No good. Jack the car up and the rear springs and sitting loose in the craddle!!!. Hence why I thought D2's would be great. I have the same thing with mine though aswell. The front is higher than the rear. I couldn't lower my front any more anyways though, because with the 17" wheels, the will rub when turning. The JUST touch at full lock now, so my height is about as low as you's want to go without mods (if u have 17"'s). Regards to all. [Report message to a moderator]
