I would stay with the 16V, it will be cheaper to buy, cheaper to install, and bugger all difference in power. DO NOT believe what people say regarding toyota's quote power figures of 116-120kW. In real life its actually 106kw for Silvertop, and 108kW for blacktop.
Also for installing these RWD, there is a fair bit of mucking around required for the dizzy, water outlets and plenum.
Dont let this discourage you from using the 20V though, they are a good motor, but they arent that huge over a 16V.
For instance my $100 smallport 16V which came out of a bin has clocked a 15.8 1/4 mile, and 69rwKW (4.11:1 diff) in my AE71. In a KE20 your 1/4 times would drop cos of the lower weight.
If it were me - i'd go the 100kW 16v again, but i would probably add a turbo to REALLY scare some people.
