Brad, where is the fluid leaking from - the PS pump (bolted to the engine and has a pulley) or from the steering box (connected to your steering wheel by way of a column)? It should be easy to tell - they are 1 metre apart.

Invariably they leak because a seal or two has failed, but you might be lucky and the leak may just be due to a loose hose. Like I suggested in my PM response, you need to clean the area to establish where the leak is from. If you determine the leak is from one of the seals, then you need to remove the PS box and replace the seals. The seals are readily available from any bearing shop and should set you back $10-15.

The steering box is connected to 4 things:
1) the chassis
2) the steering column
3) the pitman arm, and
4) the power steering lines.

Undo all of these and the box should fall out.

It is possible to replace the front seal on the power steering pump without removing the pump.
