they can do anything with urethane. with that sort of thing they need the plates to be jigged up in correct relation to each otherthen they just fill the center. i do know of a few sandwich type mounts available but cant remember any manufacturers. ive heard of mostly V8 comonwhores and rotaries with these mounts.
1 downfall is with extreme torque being made the sandwich type do still tear like rubber ones
