hi folks,
i've got a base (VE) map from Chris (thanks!!) - i'll use that as the target.
I used this <http://www.megasquirt.info/manual/vetable.htm> to generate a VE table from this data: 135Bhp @ 5800rpm; 127lb/ft @ 4400rpm; idle=1000rpm, vac=22mm/Hg - but the numbers in the lower KPA rows were 2-3 times higher than Chris's table.
we had REQ_FUEL at 16Ms at 2 squirts simultaneous - obviously easy to fire but not too much unburnt fuel left when it stopped
we'll have the map sensor hooked up (and the TPS) next time, and with any luck the O2.
advice wanted: i wired the two banks of injectors in these pairs 1/4 and 2/3 - this correct? i couldn't find anything on any of my wiring diagrams that indicated if this was right or not? similar assistance welcome when i have to rewire the 1G injectors
btw: we're not going to do any driving in it just yet (no steering for a start) - so O2 not essential yet.
I will be taking Mr 2's advice for my RA40 - dyno-tuned/tweaked once engine is in reasonable state of tune - tho i'll have to find a brisbane dyno that either knows abotu Megasquirt or lets me participate in any ECU tuning.
but it's this stuff:<http://www.megasquirt.info/manual/mtune.htm> that i want to get thru before spending time on a dyno.
