Yeh just after posting this I found that page about the 2T-G..

I'm not after ground-breaking performance.. this is a drive-to-work car.. i'm purely in this for the experience to learn about engines and I figure the best way is to have to put one in..

The mods required to put in a 2T-G, to the crossmember etc.. are they extensive? cutting, welding, etc? or just drilling some holes to make things fit?

The idea my mate had (who has as much experience as me, so it could be flawed Razz) was to stick a 5K or whatever in.. something that bolts straight in, then turbo it. Is this doable?
