TecEVO Occasional Poster Location: Switzerland Registered: September 2003	Re: aw11 gearboxs Wed, 11 August 2004 00:39 I have used a ae101 SC box in my mr2, i just used the shifter link from my old 4age mr2 box, The bit that cables connect to. on front wheel drives it stickes out the back on the mr2 box it sticks out the front, I had to make a blanking plate for the old hole and drill a new one out the front of the box. I also from memory had to drill a new hole through the shaft for a roll pin, need to use a special drill as the shaft is hard! I Did this with out opening the box just used a vacuum cleaner to suck the swarf away as i drilled very carfully, made a sleave for the drill so I could use the old hole (back hole) as a pilot. Hope this helps in some way, I also had to shorten the axles for the narrower aw11 shassis, but next time I would widden the track [Report message to a moderator]
