2T-B's do make more power than 2T's, but I'm not sure how much of that is from the carbs and how much is from the other differences (eg higher compression). I suspect putting twin carbs on an otherwise stock 2T would do little apart from increase fuel consumption.
2T-G sidedraught carbs will fit with an appropriate DCOE manifold, but the 2T-G manifold won't fit.
