Again this may be wrong but I assume that RMS means the same thing everywhere. As far as my knowledge of amplifiers goes, of which i have very little, I've been told cadence make reasonable ones, but if you want some general explanations of terms used for specifications on amplifiers go to http://www.cardomain.com/glossary/glossary.pl?term =rms+power and they have very general and understandable explanations on specifications I think all this may be off topic but it might also help.
