nebuchernezzer Regular Location: Newcastle Registered: July 2004	Re: your experience with buying import motors Wed, 11 August 2004 23:56 I got my engine (a nissan not a toyota but still...) from the same place as alainve and although it weeps a bit of oil from the front cover i've had no real dramas, the only problems have been common ones like coil packs giving up on me (regularly for a while there). Running with the boost wound up and extractor manifold etc for a few months now and it hasn't given me any troubles at all. Picking an engine from an importers is part skill and part luck, it could have come from anywhere, it could have umpteen miles on it or it could be a gem, a mate of mine bought a motor and discovered it had HKS cams, just lucky ay.
