Fortunately I had no trouble getting some small axles.
Unfortunately it's the large axles that are bloody rare - I know of so many ppl looking for large axles ... even kouki LSD's are more plentiful than the axles themselves.
I believe that the large axles are unique in that they only ones from a similar diff will fit - I know a mate has tried other diff axles out of Toyota Hiaces but they still don't match.
