Sat, 14 August 2004 04:43 I'm budgeting around $5k max for my 2nd AE86 project just like MR2drift's yellow one - not impossible, roughly: $1.4k Sprinter + 20v motor (paid already) $2k suspension $75-100 T18 rear diff $700 Used LSD Anything else would be a luxury / non-necessity apart from the rego costs. I'd allow myself the luxury of a bucket seat plus maybe a reconditioned steering rack + el cheapo paintjob + rollcage. Of course, having a mechanic as a mate to do some of the work for free helps in terms of labour costs - I'm just paying for the parts really whilst doing whatever work I can myself.
