On the engine the cam belt[even if it looks new]oil,filter, plugs,clutch if necessary [pending inspection]is about all I can think of.You may also want to get the injectors cleaned.The other basics are in the installation.I haven't seen a crook water pump in several engines,but check it for play before fitting.I have cam belts & gasket SETS [not seperate gaskets]if you have trouble sourcing locally.I run a 20v in a clubman also.
