Well yes actually. I had a W58 behind my 7MGTE with no problems at all... to be "safe" I then "upgraded" it to an R154. I fitted the "strong" R154, rebuilt with new synchros etc, and ended up selling the car not much longer... and the new owner has since busted the box - and the guy who bought my W58 is still driving along with it behind a turbo'd Falcon six.

I'm sure that our friend wastegate, who has broken a handful of R154's, will agree. Also this is one of the few things Zoom has right.. these things are fragile despite their good name. If you search the forums you'll find that they break regularly... search for "thrust washer" and you shall be enlightened...
