rallysprinter Newcomer Location: Hobart Registered: August 2003	Removing W5? from 4AGE while still in the car Sun, 15 August 2004 11:50 I've got a W5? gearbox with custom bellhousing bolted to a 4AGE in my AE86 and I need to pull the gearbox out to fix an oil leak. My problem is that I've got all of the bolts out except for the top 2 bolts, but I just can't anything on them. The bolt heads are recessed in the bellhousing so only a socket will fit, but there's only just enough room between the firewall and the bolt head to get the socket on, no way near enough to get a socket with ratchet on. Is it possible to get the 'box out by itself or does it mean dragging the engine and box out at the same time? Is there some fancy tool available to get those bolts out? Anyone else got any suggestions? [Report message to a moderator]
